Grew up in Los Angeles and other entertainment-oriented cities in the early 2000”, Nolan Pentz Martinez is a young man. Since being born to mother Nona Gaye, a talented actress and singer, and grandfather Marvin Gaye, a remarkably gifted singer, Nolan was exposed to art from infancy.
His parents supported him to be involved in minstrel and directing a film experience right from his childhood since he used to follow his mother to different events and studios. He went to private schools at Los Angeles and he freely followed passions that he had to both arts as well as academics.
The early influences of music formed a strong foundation in him right from his family environment because of the music influence in his gene pool.
Career
Imitating his relatives, Nolan has started experimenting in the sphere of entertainment though he himself decided to become a director rather than an actor most of the times. His method to these changes has been cautious and purposeful and unlike many budding stars, he has spent time honing his skills in music production and technology.

Nona Gaye, Nolan’s mother acts as a music producer and a film actress, and is also a singer. Southeast, she came to the entertainment industry following the footsteps of her father, Marvin Gaye, a famous singer of soul music born in 1974.
As a singer she has an album called the “Love for the Future” which she produced at the tender age of 14 years. She later embraced acting and made known films including The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Reversion, and Ali.
Nona has been a good mother to Nolan after engaging herself in offering a balanced child upbringing education based on her process of growing up as a child of a famous family.
In order to ensure that his abilities are not overshadowed by familial expectations and to support his development she has done her best to shield him from the public while promoting his talent, without any personal experience in being a member of a musically talented family.
